The Inspiring Story of Miracle Man
Near Death Experience
In 2006, after returning from a school trip to Disneyland Paris, Anthony contracted:
• Influenza
• Streph-Pneumonia
• Sepsis
• His heart stopped 12 times
• Was given just 10% chance of survival
• Spent 21 days on an ECMO life support machine
• Relearned how to breathe, sit, stand, talk and walk unaided

In 2012, Anthony played a major role in securing a £7.5m charity partnership between Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH) and Whitbread PLC. The funds raised went towards the Premier Inn Clinical Building, helping the hospital treat up to 20% more patients, with more than £25m raised to date.

Who is Anthony Bennett?
I’m an inspirational speaker who shares a powerful real-life story of overcoming adversity. After surviving 12 resuscitations and being told I had a 10% chance of survival, I now use my voice to uplift others through talks on resilience, mindset, and motivation.
Why do people call you the Miracle Man?
After my recovery, media and those around me began referring to me as the "Miracle Man" because of how unlikely my survival was.
What kind of audiences do you speak to?
I speak to students in primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges, as well as teachers, NHS teams, and professionals in corporate and public sector organisations.

I’ve been speaking since 2008, so that’s over 17 years of delivering talks across the UK and beyond.
